Back to the real past

It seems that researchers working in one of the world’s largest physics laboratories, under a mountain in central Italy, have recorded particles travelling at a speed that is supposedly forbidden by Einstein’s theory of special relativity.

We are fat because we are poor

I’ve just had a brainwave and its rather odd, just like all my thoughts. We have all heard of, or know someone who is fat and obese. If we dont then we certainly have seen people walking around town and heard about it on the news. The headlines are screaming, partially thanks to chefs like Jamie Oliver, “It’s an epidemic where everyone is being affected” and “we are a fat nation”. But wait, whats the reality.

Back to my brain wave… If people are eating crap and rubbish, being put under stress like unemployment or being over worked, and they can only just about get by with buying food. SUrely there is a point where it could break. So the stretch has to come to your food. When is the last time you say a anyone jogging?? or going to the gym? This does not happen unless you have the money or time invested into it. The next time you are out, have a look at the person jogging in the street. Have a look at how they look. OH, thats nice, they’re jogging and look so cozy in the rain with their weather proofs, nice cross-country trainers, nice sweat top with brand logo on it and nice ipod by the way. Its more than just jogging, its having the equipment there to allow you to job, which is the money, then its the time to say yes I do have regular time.

But wait, this is where my real thoughts come into play. With all this gear and all the time, you have got to be someone reasonably well paid or well supported by peers in life to avoid the cheap unhealthy stuff. Once people get to jogging, even if my argument has flaws, there is one thing I cant get my head around. When you exercise you burn a whole load of calories and fat and get the feel good endorphines. You also use energy. This means you not only have to buy your regular amount of food but now have to spend even more on extra goodness for before and after exercise so that you maintain a healthy body that can carry on moving without fainting and taking in enough energy.

I would love to know if people have ever considered that fact that the poorest people can only do so much before they have to stop because they cant afford to pay for the food that helps fuel their body. If im am right in saying this, then i am pretty much on my way to saying if you jog and keep healthy you are easily middle class and well off in comparison.
